Here are the majors storylines going into week 2, along with my thorough one-sentence analyses:
- Sam Bradford has been ruled inactive.
- A last minute change of status will certainly have owners scrambling, not that he’d be starting in many leagues.
- Bengals fired offensive coordination Ken Zampeze.
- The offense was offensive, wasn’t it?
- Odell Beckham is continuing to improve but could continue to be ruled out for another three weeks.
- This is a tricky situation because he is not playing until Monday night, but the prospects of him paying this week are poor.
- Danny Amendola is out Sunday with a concussion and a knee injury.
- Too bad, as he was certainly going to benefit from the Julian Edelman injury.
- WR John Brown is out Sunday with a quad injury.
- Too bad, as he was certainly going to benefit from being John Brown.
- Jarvis Landry is questionable this week.
- Remember, Miami’s first game was rescheduled, so the is no game performance to get a feel for what Landry has to offer if he plays.
- Jacoby Brissett will start for the Colts at QB.
- I have Andrew Luck on my bench and will continue to retain his services until his timetable for retuning is a little more definitive.
- Danny Woodhead was placed on IR.
- Not that I endorsed drafting him to begin with…
